Pal delivered an end-to-end synthetic data generation and API integration solution for the THI-CSI/decentralized_iam_battery_data repository. Using Python scripting and Flask, Pal developed a script that generates synthetic battery data in both CSV and JSON formats, then submits this data to a local API endpoint to simulate realistic ingestion scenarios. The addition of a Flask-based test endpoint enabled lightweight integration testing by acknowledging incoming data, streamlining the validation process. This work established a repeatable data enrichment pipeline, reducing manual setup and supporting more efficient development and QA. The implementation demonstrated depth in API testing, data generation, and workflow automation.
