During April 2025, Panduka Mudhitha enhanced the oraichain/OpenHands repository by developing an improved command-line interface using Python and prompt-toolkit. He replaced the standard input() function with prompt-toolkit to support multiline input and more robust confirmation prompts, directly addressing usability and productivity challenges in CLI workflows. This work focused on CLI development and prompt engineering, resulting in a richer, more interactive user experience for developers working with OpenHands. The implementation laid a foundation for future user experience improvements, demonstrating thoughtful integration of modern Python libraries to solve practical interface limitations within a short project period and with focused technical depth.
