Panyin Xu developed and integrated support for the OpenBMB MiniCPM3-4B-FC model within the function calling leaderboard of the huggingface/gorilla repository. Using Python and leveraging skills in API integration and full stack development, Panyin implemented a dedicated handler for the model’s function-calling variant, streamlining integration and reducing the risk of misconfiguration. The work included updates to the changelog, README, and model metadata, enhancing model discoverability and onboarding for users. This focused contribution improved model coverage and allowed customers to test and deploy the MiniCPM3-4B-FC model in production-like workflows with greater consistency and reduced setup complexity.
