Worked on stabilizing DB2 integration within the sequelize/sequelize repository by upgrading the ibm_db dependency to version 3.3.0 and refining error handling mechanisms. Focused on improving the reliability of DB2 interactions by updating the SQL0803N error message regex, which enhanced the visibility and accuracy of error reporting. Addressed dependency management by updating yarn.lock to reflect the latest changes, ensuring smoother deployments and reduced production incidents. Utilized JavaScript and Node.js to implement these improvements, with an emphasis on database management and robust error handling. The work resulted in more reliable DB2 workloads and streamlined troubleshooting for production environments.
