Parth Patel developed a new User Management API endpoint for the SEMOSS/Monolith repository, enabling administrators to directly retrieve the total user count for improved reporting and oversight. He implemented this feature using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on backend and API development best practices. Alongside the new endpoint, Parth refactored input sanitization logic across authorization resource classes, standardizing security measures and reducing inconsistencies in data handling. This work enhanced both the maintainability and security of the codebase. Over the course of the month, Parth’s contributions addressed administrative needs and strengthened the backend architecture without introducing new bug fixes.
