Developed a robust testing infrastructure for the powerhome/power-tools repository by integrating the Combustion gem to support Data Taster features. Focused on enhancing test coverage and maintainability, the work included updating the CI workflow, refining Gemfile configurations, and introducing new RSpec spec files. Leveraged Ruby and YAML to align the testing framework with existing tooling, which helped accelerate QA feedback and reduce regression risk. The approach emphasized test-driven development and CI/CD best practices, ensuring the Data Taster integration remained reliable and easier to maintain. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery.
