During January 2026, Patrick focused on build system cleanup for the ubicloud/runner-images repository, targeting the removal of a deprecated Visual Studio workload for Linux GCC ARM from Windows build configurations. By leveraging configuration management and DevOps skills, Patrick streamlined the toolset setup, reducing confusion and minimizing potential build issues for cross-platform ARM development. The work, implemented in JSON, improved the maintainability and reliability of the CI pipelines while enhancing the onboarding experience for new developers.
