Worked on the prefix-dev/pixi repository to expand installation accessibility by introducing a wget-based installation method with a curl fallback, addressing environments where curl is unavailable. Focused on improving onboarding by updating the Markdown documentation to include clear wget installation examples and code blocks, ensuring users could easily follow the new workflow. The technical approach emphasized shell-based installation UX and cross-environment compatibility, maintaining seamless support for existing curl-based processes. No bugs were fixed during this period, as the primary effort centered on feature development and documentation quality, resulting in a more inclusive and consistent installer experience for a broader user base.
