Worked on the zed-industries/zed repository to deliver a focused user interface enhancement by implementing Vim-style keyboard navigation for the Agent Panel. The feature enabled window management commands using Ctrl-W X, allowing users to navigate and control the panel entirely via keyboard, which improved accessibility and aligned with the project’s UX roadmap. The approach emphasized low-risk, maintainable code changes, integrating established keyboard accessibility patterns and Vim command logic. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated skills in user interface development and accessibility, leveraging JavaScript and UI frameworks to ensure the feature was robust and ready for release.
