Worked on the intel/gdb repository to deliver a feature that introduced known-failure tracking within the IntelGT Atomic BP test suite. This involved implementing kfail setups using Tcl to explicitly mark tests expected to fail on non-PVC devices due to atomic instruction issues with newer compilers. Integrated Jira-based issue tracking to link these failures to specific regression causes, improving traceability and regression management. Focused on enhancing test automation and debugging workflows, the work reduced noise in continuous integration results and enabled faster triage of test failures. The approach laid a foundation for more robust and maintainable regression testing cycles.
