Worked on the opencloud-eu/opencloud repository to address LDAP image deprecation following the Bitnami repository sunset. Migrated deployment configurations and CI/CD pipelines from bitnami/openldap:2.6 to bitnamilegacy/openldap:2.6, ensuring uninterrupted LDAP service for authentication components. Used Starlark and YAML to update image references and validate compatibility across deployment workflows, focusing on maintaining service continuity and rollback readiness. Documented the rationale and operational changes to support future maintenance. The work emphasized containerization and DevOps best practices, reducing maintenance risk while aligning with vendor timelines and preserving the reliability of LDAP-dependent services throughout the transition period.
