During August 2025, Pascal Bleser focused on maintaining LDAP service continuity for the opencloud-eu/opencloud repository by addressing the deprecation of the Bitnami OpenLDAP image. He migrated deployment configurations and CI/CD pipelines from bitnami/openldap:2.6 to bitnamilegacy/openldap:2.6, ensuring compatibility with vendor sunset timelines and reducing future maintenance risks. Using Starlark and YAML, Pascal verified deployments and automated workflows to guarantee zero downtime for authentication services dependent on LDAP. He documented the rationale and operational changes, providing clear guidance for future maintenance. This work demonstrated depth in DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD, emphasizing reliability and operational readiness over new feature delivery.
