During January 2025, Khoi contributed to platform reliability by developing three features across the bitnami/charts and bitnami/containers repositories. He introduced a Kubernetes API version compatibility template for Jobs, enabling safer deployments across varying Kubernetes versions through dynamic template logic in YAML and Go. In the etcd chart, he implemented a pre-upgrade hook to improve cluster state detection and ensure reliable upgrades. Additionally, Khoi refactored etcd scripts in the containers repository, removing local file dependencies and adding a pre-upgrade script in bash to enhance Helm upgrade safety. His work demonstrated depth in containerization, Helm, and Kubernetes scripting.
