During February 2025, contributed a focused enhancement to the catppuccin/vscode-icons repository by expanding Taskfile file associations to recognize .taskrc.yml and .taskrc.yaml files. This update improved icon recognition for Taskfile-based projects, streamlining visual identification and reducing friction for developers working in TypeScript-heavy environments. The implementation was carefully scoped to the file-association layer, ensuring minimal impact on unrelated icons and reducing the risk of regressions. Leveraging front end development and iconography skills, the work enhanced developer experience and onboarding by enabling quicker project identification, while maintaining the stability and integrity of the existing icon association infrastructure within the extension.
