Worked on the DefiLlama/defillama-server repository to address a critical data quality issue affecting UI and metadata consistency. Focused on correcting the Sophon Farm category label from 'Chain' to 'Farm', this change restored proper visibility in the user interface and ensured accurate backend categorization. The solution involved updating TypeScript logic in storeGetProtocols.ts and synchronizing changes across lite/protocols2 and appMetadata-protocols.json, aligning frontend display with backend metadata. By consolidating taxonomy between the UI and backend, the work improved data discoverability and reduced user confusion. The project utilized full stack development skills with a focus on TypeScript and metadata management.
