Worked on the thunderbird-l10n repository to deliver Portuguese (Portugal) localization for the Windows system tray Quit menu, ensuring the full Thunderbird brand name appears for PT-PT users. Focused on UI development and localization, the work involved aligning new strings with the existing i18n framework to support future scalability and smoother deployment. Implemented the initial phase of context menu enhancements for the Windows tray icon, addressing Bug 2047459 and validating UI text rendering to reinforce branding consistency. Utilized Fluent for localization and ensured that the updated Quit menu improved the user experience for Portuguese-speaking Windows users without introducing regressions.
