During February 2026, Peetzweg developed the Matrix Threaded Conversations feature for the openclaw/openclaw repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using TypeScript. This work introduced thread-specific session isolation within the Matrix integration, enabling conversations to be securely segregated by thread. By updating routing logic to utilize thread-specific session keys, Peetzweg reduced cross-thread session leakage and improved message delivery accuracy. The implementation also enriched inbound session data with thread starter information, supporting distinct moderation and handling workflows for each thread. This feature laid the foundation for scalable, multi-threaded interactions and demonstrated depth in session management and Matrix integration.
