Worked on the go-gitea/gitea repository to address a regression in SSH authorized principals handling, focusing on restoring correct behavior for writing authorized principals in SSH key configurations. Applied Go and backend development skills to implement logic that ensures only valid principal formats are written, reducing the risk of misconfiguration for users managing SSH access. Emphasized test-driven development by adding targeted tests to verify correct handling and prevent future regressions. This work improved the maintainability of SSH-related code paths and demonstrated careful attention to stability and reliability in a live codebase, with a focus on robust testing and regression prevention.
