Andrea Petreti enhanced secret management and observability for RTP services in the pagopa/cstar-infrastructure repository. He implemented Azure Key Vault RBAC by granting the activator identity access to secrets, ensuring secure and compliant handling of sensitive data. Leveraging Terraform and HCL, Andrea wired Application Insights monitoring using a connection string stored in Key Vault, enabling proactive diagnostics and reducing detection time for issues. These infrastructure as code changes improved operational visibility and security posture with minimal disruption to existing workflows. The work demonstrated a focused approach to cloud security and DevOps, addressing both compliance and monitoring requirements in a single feature.
