Petr Rudichev enhanced Russian localization for the HabitRPG/habitica repository by updating achievement-related strings to improve clarity and grammatical accuracy. Focusing on user-facing text, Petr refined currency phrasing and corrected language inconsistencies, directly supporting Russian-speaking users and aligning with the project’s internationalization goals. The work was implemented using JSON and managed through the Weblate translation platform, ensuring traceable and maintainable updates. While the scope was limited to a single feature over one month, Petr’s contributions addressed a specific need for improved readability and localization, helping to foster engagement and retention in a key non-English market without introducing new bugs.
