Worked on the rdkcentral/rdk-wifi-hal repository to address a hardware-OS compatibility issue affecting Raspberry Pi deployments. Focused on driver development and embedded systems, the developer implemented a workaround for AP instability caused by NL80211 ACL import changes. By conditionally disabling ACL functionality specifically on Raspberry Pi, the solution preserved access point stability and improved reliability for Pi-based network deployments. This targeted bug fix, written in C and leveraging expertise in network protocols, reduced deployment risk and ensured smoother operation of wireless access points on Raspberry Pi hardware. The work demonstrated careful analysis of platform-specific issues and practical problem-solving.
