Worked on the apache/couchdb repository to deliver three features focused on build automation, CI/CD, and cross-platform development. Integrated and upgraded the Clouseau tool to version 2.25.0, improving build diagnostics and enabling its use across macOS, FreeBSD, and Windows environments by configuring Java home and related settings. Enhanced development and CI workflows by implementing configurable Erlang cookie propagation for secure inter-node communication, updating Makefiles and Jenkinsfiles to support robust multi-node clustering and automated testing. Leveraged Groovy, Makefile, and Shell scripting to streamline dependency management and configuration, reducing setup friction and supporting more reliable, cross-OS releases and faster feedback cycles.
Delivered two targeted features to improve development experience, inter-node communication, and Windows CI testing for Apache CouchDB in May 2025. These changes reduce environment setup friction, ensure reliable clustering in development, and improve test coverage on Windows.
