
During October 2025, Pranav Hariharan developed the Forward Time of Flight (TOF) digitization feature for the eic/EICrecon repository, focusing on enhancing the detector simulation-to-reconstruction pipeline. He implemented an end-to-end process that converts energy deposition and timing data into ADC and TDC values, incorporating charge sharing, pulse generation, and discretization using C++ within the JANA framework. By wiring the digitization path into the EICROC digitization and integrating with the EICrecon data model, Pranav improved data fidelity and timing accuracy. His work leveraged skills in data digitization, detector simulation, and dd4hep, supporting more robust downstream reconstruction workflows.
