Worked on expanding the phuhung273/aws-cdk repository by adding support for PostgreSQL 16.10 in Aurora engine versioning, enabling deployments with the latest database version. The implementation involved updating backend logic using TypeScript to recognize and validate the new engine version, ensuring compatibility with AWS documentation and release notes. A verification workflow was developed to confirm the availability of PostgreSQL 16.10 through engine version queries, aligning the feature with AWS guidelines and customer needs. The work focused on backend development and database management, delivering business value by reducing upgrade friction and supporting seamless adoption of new PostgreSQL versions in AWS Aurora deployments.
