During November 2025, Phcrva developed Slack app bot token integration for the prometheus/alertmanager repository, focusing on secure and flexible configuration management. They enabled both global and per-receiver token configuration, addressing the risk of token leakage and supporting granular access control. The implementation involved backend development in Go, introducing new validation rules and modifying data structures to support Slack app integration while maintaining backward compatibility. Phcrva also prepared the system for migration by supporting per-receiver overrides and ensured ongoing compatibility with existing configurations. Code quality was enhanced through lint fixes, contributing to the maintainability and reliability of the alertmanager codebase.
