During May 2025, contributed a focused user experience enhancement to the pedaling/opensource repository by developing a native swipe gesture control for the TabView component. This work introduced a new prop, native_swipeEnabled, allowing developers to enable or disable swiping between tabs while maintaining backward compatibility and minimizing disruption to existing usage patterns. The implementation was completed within a clearly defined feature scope, with changes tracked through a dedicated commit and pull request. Leveraging skills in React Native, component development, and frontend engineering, the solution was delivered using JavaScript and TypeScript, providing precise navigation control for application interfaces without introducing regressions.
