During a two-month period, Phong Vu developed and integrated a reusable ClientTimeDisplay component for the mezonai/mmn-tx-explorer repository, centralizing timestamp formatting and ensuring consistent time representation across the application. He refactored existing components to leverage this new logic, reducing code duplication and improving maintainability. Using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, Phong addressed client-side time rendering issues by implementing stateful updates with useState and useEffect, which enhanced reliability for end users. He also improved UI clarity by localizing currency symbols throughout transaction and wallet interfaces. The work demonstrated thoughtful engineering depth in both frontend architecture and user experience.
