Worked on moltbot/moltbot to enhance the plugin system’s extensibility and reliability by developing the Plugin SDK: Reply Payload Hook. This feature allows plugins to modify or cancel reply payloads before sending, supporting more flexible message handling. The implementation involved robust hook composition in TypeScript, ensuring that both caller-provided and global plugin hooks execute consistently. Comprehensive regression tests were added to cover reply payload hooks and dispatch flows, with refinements to Telegram identity handling to prevent hook suppression. The work focused on plugin development, message handling, and testing, ultimately strengthening the platform’s ability to support richer, more reliable plugin-based messaging behaviors.
