Worked on the iTwin/iTwinUI repository to address a complex issue with table column reordering when hidden columns were present. Focused on improving the drag-and-drop logic in the React-based front end, using TypeScript to ensure type safety and maintainability. Enhanced the table component’s reliability by adding automated tests that verify correct behavior in scenarios involving hidden columns, thereby reducing the risk of regressions. This targeted bug fix improved the user experience by preventing confusion during table customization and contributed to overall product stability. Demonstrated a methodical approach by integrating changes with continuous integration workflows and prioritizing robust test coverage.
