Contributed a major upgrade to the nf-core/modules repository by delivering VSEARCH version 2.31.0 across several modules, including dereplicate, fastqfilter, and vsearch cluster. This work involved targeted code changes in Nextflow and YAML, container updates, and comprehensive improvements to module documentation and metadata. The upgrade enhanced functionality, performance, and reproducibility, while deterministic logging and lint fixes improved reliability and stability. Collaboration was demonstrated through co-authored commits and robust release documentation. The effort showcased skills in bioinformatics, containerization, and data processing, focusing on cross-module consistency and maintainability within a complex, production-grade scientific workflow environment.
