Worked on the schneems/pack repository to enhance build correctness and reliability in multi-architecture environments. Focused on refining the build system by addressing a bug in the daemonTarget logic, ensuring that when an explicit architecture is specified, the build process selects the correct architecture-specific target rather than defaulting to an OS-based match. This adjustment improved build reproducibility and prevented mis-targeting issues in complex build scenarios. The solution was implemented using Go, leveraging expertise in build systems and Go development. Over the period, the work concentrated on targeted bug resolution rather than feature development, demonstrating depth in problem analysis and technical execution.
