Worked on enhancing the stability of RSS feed integration within the misskey-dev/misskey repository by addressing failures in fetching RSS feeds caused by improperly encoded URLs. Focused on improving the ingestion pipeline by implementing URL encoding using JavaScript’s encodeURIComponent, ensuring that special characters and query parameters in RSS URLs no longer disrupted API requests. Applied skills in API integration, frontend development, and URL encoding to refactor the relevant code and add targeted tests where applicable. The work resulted in a more robust and reliable RSS feed ingestion process, with all changes delivered in Vue and JavaScript over the course of one month.
