During February 2025, Ping Crossedfall upgraded the BYOND server environment for the BeeStation-Salatland repository, focusing on enhancing compatibility and enabling new features. The work involved updating the Dockerfile, compile options, and dependency scripts to support BYOND version 515.1642, ensuring the server infrastructure could leverage recent platform improvements. Using skills in build systems, server configuration, and version control, Ping maintained clear traceability through well-documented commits. The project was implemented using DM and Dockerfile, reflecting a targeted, infrastructure-focused contribution. While the work addressed a single feature without bug fixes, it demonstrated depth in system-level upgrades and environment management.
