During January 2025, Piotr Godowski enhanced Red Hat certification readiness for three IBM operator repositories, focusing on ibm-licensing-operator, operand-deployment-lifecycle-manager, and ibm-common-service-operator. He delivered essential Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) metadata, enabling certified, offline, and disconnected deployments while strengthening security through FIPS compliance and proxy awareness. Piotr’s work centered on YAML configuration, leveraging his expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and operator development to align with Red Hat’s certification requirements. By addressing certification metadata and deployment risk, he improved the operators’ compliance and deployment flexibility, demonstrating depth in cloud certification processes and a methodical approach to DevOps engineering challenges.
