Worked on enhancing the elastic/cloud-on-k8s repository by delivering feature support for remoteClusterServer in the Elasticsearch Helm chart. Focused on improving multi-cluster deployment capabilities, the work involved updating default values and implementing comprehensive tests to ensure correct configuration and rendering logic. Leveraged skills in Helm Charts, Kubernetes, and YAML to increase the chart’s configurability, making it easier to set up and maintain multi-cluster ECK deployments. All changes were aligned with repository standards and integrated into existing CI and test coverage, supporting long-term maintainability and reliability of the Helm chart for users managing Elasticsearch on Kubernetes.
