Developed Galician localization for the YouTube Music UI in the th-ch/youtube-music repository, focusing on internationalization and translation workflows. Established a Weblate-driven process to manage and track translation progress, translating 28.9% of 477 interface strings using JSON. This work laid the foundation for scalable localization, enabling future language support with reduced overhead. By integrating Galician translations for UI elements, menus, and plugin descriptions, the project improved accessibility and engagement for Galician-speaking users. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on building a robust localization pipeline and enhancing the platform’s readiness for ongoing multilingual expansion.
