Worked on the vmware-tanzu/velero repository to deliver a targeted dependency update focused on improving logging and plugin management. Upgraded the go-hclog and go-plugin libraries to their latest versions, aligning the project with current HashiCorp standards and enhancing both observability and plugin reliability across deployments. The approach centered on careful dependency management using Go, with an emphasis on maintainability and future release readiness. All changes were reviewed and signed off to ensure compliance and traceability. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a stable integration process and a focus on strengthening the project’s core infrastructure components.
