During this period, contributed to the matrix-org/matrix-js-sdk repository by developing a new configurability feature that allows client applications to disable VoIP support through a dedicated option. This addition prevents unnecessary TURN server fetches and skips VoIP initialization, reducing resource usage and potential risk exposure. The implementation was carried out using JavaScript and TypeScript, with a focus on client-side development practices. Comprehensive unit tests were written to validate the disableVoip behavior, ensuring regression safety and maintainability.
