Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository to deliver encryption key version management for control plane disks, enhancing security configurability for infrastructure deployments. Introduced a new field within user_managed_keys_config, enabling support for versioned, user-managed encryption keys that align with evolving customer key management strategies. The implementation leveraged skills in cloud security, infrastructure as code, and Terraform, with Go as the primary programming language. This feature allows users to specify and manage encryption key versions for control plane disks, providing greater flexibility and control over disk encryption. The work focused on expanding security options without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
