Worked on the adobe/react-spectrum repository, focusing on enhancing the Picker component by delivering an anchor-preserving multi-select feature. This update enabled users to perform reliable shift+click range selections, addressing a core usability need for multi-selection workflows. The implementation involved modifying the selection logic to maintain the selection anchor, ensuring intuitive and consistent behavior. Comprehensive unit and integration tests were added to verify correct selection state and anchor preservation, improving overall test coverage. The work was carried out using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, demonstrating a thorough approach to front end development and testing within a widely used UI component library.
