During December 2025, contributed to the louislam/uptime-kuma repository by developing a dedicated SQL Server monitor type that evaluates single numeric result values from queries, enabling threshold-based alerting for SQL Server workloads. This work involved refactoring the existing sqlserver monitor into its own modular monitor-type, which improved the maintainability and extensibility of the monitoring framework. The implementation, using Node.js and JavaScript, expanded the system’s monitoring capabilities by supporting conditions on single-result values, allowing for more flexible and data-driven alerting scenarios. The approach focused on backend development and database management, positioning the project for future enhancements in monitoring systems.
