Worked on the Geonovum/NL-SBB repository to enhance the SKOS AP NL profile by implementing interoperability improvements and addressing a critical validation issue. Focused on ontology engineering using Turtle and RDF, the work included enabling OWL imports for external ontologies such as SKOS core, SKOS thesaurus, DCT, and FOAF, thereby increasing semantic richness and alignment with established standards. Additionally, resolved a validation bug by adding missing sh:path statements to property shapes, clarifying relationships and reducing downstream validation risks. The approach demonstrated attention to standards compliance and robust data modeling, leveraging SHACL and Semantic Web technologies for improved profile reliability.
