Worked on integrating the cluster-capi-operator extension into the OpenShift payload extension registry within the openshift/origin repository. This involved registering the extension’s OTE binary to enable automated extraction and invocation during test suite execution, streamlining the validation process for the extension. Leveraged Go for backend development and testing, focusing on improving test automation and reducing manual testing requirements. The work enhanced test coverage and reliability for the cluster-capi-operator extension, and included collaboration across teams as reflected in co-authored commits. The approach demonstrated a methodical application of Go and backend testing skills to extend OpenShift’s automated validation capabilities.
