
Developed high-speed Ethernet interface support for the netbox-community/netbox repository, focusing on enabling IEEE 802.3dj 1.6T capabilities for modern data center and carrier environments. Delivered new fixed and pluggable interface types, including 1.6TBASE-CR8, 1.6TBASE-KR8, and advanced transceiver form factors such as OSFP1600 and QSFP-DD1600. Leveraged Python and networking expertise to design, implement, and integrate these features from initial concept through repository changes. This work expanded the platform’s readiness for next-generation networking deployments, supporting scalability and future-proofing. The contribution addressed evolving industry requirements by enhancing support for high-speed connectivity within the software’s existing architecture.
