Worked on the th-ch/youtube-music repository to deliver the initial phase of Telugu localization, focusing on enhancing accessibility for Telugu-speaking users. Developed a new translation file in JSON, providing translations for user interface elements, console messages, error messages, and dialogs. Leveraged internationalization (i18n) best practices and integrated a Weblate-based translation workflow to enable ongoing updates and progress tracking. The work established a foundation for broader localization, with translation coverage reaching 4.8 percent of all strings. This effort supported the repository’s internationalization goals and improved the user experience for a key regional audience through structured translation and localization pipelines.
