Peter Olds developed Virtual Hosting Path Support for the rustfs/rustfs repository, enhancing the RustFS Helm Chart to enable domain-based virtual hosting and flexible routing for Kubernetes deployments. He introduced a new configuration option in YAML, allowing users to specify server domains at deployment time, which improves configurability for multi-tenant environments. Leveraging his skills in DevOps, Helm, and Kubernetes, Peter’s work addressed the need for more agile and scalable multi-domain deployments.
