
Worked on the Mudlet/Mudlet repository to improve stability and reliability in area cleanup and room-area management workflows. Focused on addressing a use-after-free bug by transitioning dirty-area tracking from raw pointers to area IDs, which eliminated a crash path during area cleanup operations. The solution involved implementing ID-based dirty-area resolution and safely managing the dirty set to prevent reentrant mutations, particularly during TRoom::setArea() and Lua binding interactions. This C++ development effort emphasized robust memory management and laid the groundwork for safer multi-profile area management. No new user-facing features were introduced, with all work centered on backend bug fixing and hardening.
