Worked on the BSC-ES/autosubmit repository to enhance deployment security and efficiency by hardening the Docker image and optimizing build processes. Updated the Dockerfile to use a debian13-slim base and integrated micromamba for improved dependency management, consolidating package installations and cleanup into single RUN commands to streamline layer caching. Adjusted CI/CD workflows to align with these changes, ensuring cleaner and more secure continuous integration. Updated documentation, including the CHANGELOG.md, to reflect all security enhancements and workflow updates. Utilized skills in Docker, CI/CD, and system administration, focusing on maintainability and setting a foundation for faster future development cycles.
