Developed romanization support for Hindi and Bengali lyrics in the th-ch/youtube-music repository, enabling automatic conversion of Devanagari and Bengali scripts to IAST for synced lyrics. This feature improved accessibility for users unfamiliar with these scripts and supported broader internationalization efforts. The implementation involved front end development using React and TypeScript, focusing on seamless integration with the existing lyrics display system. Collaboration was demonstrated through co-authorship, ensuring code quality and maintainability. The work addressed a specific accessibility challenge by allowing non-Latin-script users to engage with content more easily, reflecting a thoughtful approach to user experience and technical execution.
