Worked on expanding the compiler-explorer project by implementing Hexagon clang compiler support within the LLVM IR toolchain. Focused on configuring the system to recognize and utilize Hexagon-clang for LLVM IR target compilation, this work involved updating properties files and integrating new compiler options into the existing configuration. The changes, committed to the compiler-explorer/compiler-explorer repository, enabled users to target Hexagon architectures directly from the LLVM IR workflow. The primary technical skill applied was compiler configuration, with an emphasis on properties file management and toolchain integration. No bug fixes were recorded, as the month’s efforts centered on feature development and system extensibility.
