Over three months, contributed to the flowiseai/flowise and FlowiseAI/Flowise repositories by building robust backend and full stack features using TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Developed a stateless MCP-based ChatFlows Server with SSE support, comprehensive configuration management, and a management UI, enhancing scalability and security for enterprise chatflows. Implemented the AgentflowV2 Scheduling System, introducing automated, time-based execution with BullMQ and advanced UI components for scheduling. Improved public chatflow accessibility through CORS validation and strengthened database reliability with enhanced type checks and input handling. Emphasized unit testing, validation, and UI/UX design to deliver reliable, maintainable, and production-ready workflow automation solutions.
May 2026: Delivered the AgentflowV2 Scheduling System for flowise with automated, time-based execution of flows. Core delivery includes ScheduleQueue (BullMQ), scheduleService (create/update/disable schedules), schedule validation, and support for last-day-of-month scheduling. UI/UX: added TimePicker, WeekDaysPicker, MonthDaysPicker, DatePicker, and an IANA timezone selector integrated with chatflow and CanvasHeader; updated NodeInputHandler to support scheduling inputs. Implemented endpoints for schedule status and enable/disable actions, along with robust validation to prevent misconfigurations. Quality and setup: aligned ScheduleRecord interfaces with nullable fields, fixed tests, and hid scheduling inputs from non-scheduling packages. Tech stack and practices demonstrated: BullMQ, cron/node-cron, TypeScript interfaces, UI components, REST endpoints, IdentityManager integration, and comprehensive unit testing. Business impact: automated, reliable, and scalable scheduling reduces manual intervention, improves workflow throughput, and enables more predictable agent-flow executions across flows.
